People Operations Coordinator
We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to join our growing team at Legendz.
This role exists to create structure, consistency, and operational excellence within a scaling business environment. You will play a key role in helping the People function move from reactive to proactive while ensuring employees receive a high-quality experience throughout their journey with the company.
You will work closely with the HR Director across both operational and strategic initiatives, becoming a trusted day-to-day partner within the People function.
While this is not a strategic HRBP role, we are looking for someone capable of growing into a broader People Operations function over time.
This role suits someone who thrives in fast-moving environments where priorities shift quickly, processes evolve, and adaptability is essential.
Due to the collaborative and operational nature of the role, candidates must already be based in Malta.
Key Responsibilities
Manage HR administration across the full employee lifecycle, including contracts, onboarding, offboarding, probation tracking, salary changes, and employee documentation.
Maintain accurate HR systems, trackers, records, and compliance documentation.
Support recruitment coordination, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding logistics.
Assist with payroll preparation, benefits administration, and HR reporting.
Help maintain HR policies, templates, processes, and operational workflows.
Coordinate across multiple teams, stakeholders, entities, and time zones.
Support employee engagement initiatives, company projects, workshops, and internal communication.
Act as a reliable operational partner and second set of eyes to the HR Director.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in HR Administration, People Operations, HR Coordination, or similar HR support roles.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Proactive mindset with strong ownership and follow-through.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Comfortable working independently in fast-paced and evolving environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Confidence in interacting with senior stakeholders and distributed teams.
Experience or comfort working across multiple countries and time zones is highly advantageous. Occasional flexibility in working hours may be required to support operational needs across regions.
Comfort using digital tools, HR systems (Talexio & Team Tailor in particular), and AI-assisted workflows is considered a plus.
Experience within gaming, crypto, tech, startup, or scaling environments is advantageous.
